Hans, the founder behind HB Design – an award-winning architectural practice with offices in Singapore, Bangkok and Jakarta and projects throughout Asia, Europe and the Middle East. He shared with the group his passion and vast knowledge of architecture formed by years of experience. Arranged over 4 floors, S2 retail is set to become a new landmark with a dynamic collection of shops and dining opportunities. In today’s world of decorated retail boxes set directly onto the street, S2 will feel like a different world – fronted by an elegant, landscaped plaza with an active façade that engages the public. The retail areas have been designed to break down the usual segregation between the office lobby and the shops.

The goal of the design was to allow the base of the building to encourage public interaction.
Director Hans Brouwer, the driving force behind HB Design, brings a wealth of experience and a distinguished career to the architectural landscape. Born in Hong Kong and educated in Switzerland and the United States, Hans graduated at the top of his class from the University of Southern California. As the Design Studio manager, Shannon is responsible for ensuring all projects are executed with precision throughout each stage of the design process. Her organized and professional approach to designing and managing ensures that all technical packages are completed on time and in accordance with HB's stringent standards.
